Peach Sangria

Fruit options: If strawberries are out of season, raspberries or blackberries make great substitutes. Add pineapple chunks and a splash of coconut rum for a tropical twist. Or lean into a more citrusy take with sliced oranges, lemons, limes and an orange liqueur.
Change the wine: If you love an Aperol spritz, try replacing the sauvignon blanc with a sparkling wine like prosecco. A light rosé wine can also be delightful in a sangria, and pairs nicely with the strawberries.
How to Store Peach Sangria
Peach sangria should be stored in the refrigerator in a covered pitcher to maintain freshness and flavor. The longer it sits, the more the flavors meld, but the sparkling water may lose its fizz. Mix it well and refresh the fizz by adding more sparkling water before serving it again.

How long does peach sangria last?
White peach sangria can last up to three days in the fridge. We don’t recommend keeping it longer as the fruit will break down, and the color and texture will be less appetizing.

Can you make peach sangria ahead of time?
Peach sangria tastes even better when made up to 24 hours in advance. The flavors will blend more as it sits, so it’s actually recommended to make it ahead. Just wait to add the sparkling water until right before serving to preserve the carbonation.

Can you make peach sangria with frozen fruit?
Whether you are throwing a mid-winter island-themed dinner party or just can’t make it to the store, frozen fruit can be just the thing. I like to thaw half of my fruit, strain off any excess moisture and throw it in the mix while leaving the other half frozen to make fruity little ice cubes.

What can you serve with peach sangria?
Peach sangria is fantastic with light, seasonal dishes like grilled seafood, fresh green salads and charcuterie boards. For dessert, go big on the stone fruit with peach cobbler or make other seasonal fruit tarts.

Ingredients
2 medium peaches, sliced
1 bottle (750 milliliters) sauvignon blanc or other white wine
3/4 cup peach schnapps liqueur
12 ounces sparkling water (1-1/2 cups), chilled
1 quart (about 3 cups) fresh strawberries, halved
1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
Directions

Combine the first 3 ingredients in a large pitcher. Cover and refrigerate until chilled, about 1 hour. Stir in sparkling water, strawberries and mint. Serve over ice.
