I made these thinking they’d be a light snack but somehow, I ate the entire batch in one sitting. Oops.

Ingredient Quantity
Pecan halves 64
Baking/cooking caramels 11 oz
Semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 bag
Parchment paper or silicone baking mat
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Pecan Clusters

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Arrange pecan halves in clusters of four, resembling a turtle’s head and legs.
Step 2: Melt the Caramels

Unwrap caramels and place in a microwave-safe bowl.
Add 1 tablespoon of water.
Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Let cool slightly, but keep it liquid.
Step 3: Assemble the Turtle Candies

Spoon caramel over each pecan cluster, covering the nuts.
Let set for 10 minutes or until firm.
Step 4: Melt the Chocolate

Place chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Step 5: Coat the Turtle Candies with Chocolate

Spoon melted chocolate over each caramel-covered cluster.
Spread evenly and optionally, swirl with a fork or toothpick.
Step 6: Set and Serve

Let cool at room temperature or refrigerate for faster setting.
Peel off the baking sheet.
Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
